I wouldn't feed my dog without it!,

This review is from: Atomic Treat Ball - 3" (Misc.)
My Australian Shepherd eats every meal out of his Molecuball. It helps get some of his energy out and stimulates his brain a bit. The shape of the ball makes it a little trickier to get out food than other treat balls. Doggie has to work for it! However, he has gotten very good at getting his kibble out quite fast. He carries the ball around everywhere hoping I will continue to feed him.
This ball is extremely durable and makes minimal noise. It can roll on the carpet. It is a softer plastic, not a hard, noisy plastic...like some similar treat balls on the market.

Best treat ball we've found,
By
This review is from: Atomic Treat Ball - 3" (Misc.)
Treat balls are the best way for me to keep my active terrier mix busy in the house and we've tried several of them, including the Kong biscuit ball and the Buster Cube. Benji's a chewer and he'll disembowel plush toys pretty quickly. So we prefer rubber toys he can't destroy and which don't make a lot of noise (the Buster Cube is hard plastic and it's hard to take in the same room with the dog knocking it around). The Atomic Treat Ball (3 in.) is the best we've found.
While I'd prefer a smaller or adjustable hole, we've found a couple of treats Benji likes that make him work to get them out: the small size Milk Bones and the heart shaped Paul Newman treats. Both of these are just a little too big for him to get out of the toy by rolling it around. He has to squeeze the opening with his teeth just the right way and hope that he gets lucky. Plus the biscuit treats don't spoil if they remain in the toy. Another bonus is that the treat ball is just a little too large for him to lose under much of our furniture. Don't you hate it when you get a new toy, the dog loves it, and it disappears within the first five minutes if you turn your back? :)

I just got this at PetSmart today for $6 and the dogs seem a bit perplexed. They enjoy it and have had fun batting it around, but I think they would rather I put their food in a bowl for them - instead of working for it. I have two of the laziest highest-energy lab mixes around.
However, I would tell anyone looking to purchase it to buy from another vendor. Amazon used to have one on here that offered the Atomic Treat Ball for $4, since I missed that boat I ended up buying mine at PetSmart for $6 (as mentioned above). Good treat toy- but not for $17. PS- I only gave it 4 stars because I really don't feel like we've had adequate experience with it to say if it is well made or not. It DOES feel sturdy... I'll update after we've had this for a while longer! UPDATE: Great toy once the dogs got used to it. They now easily knock the food out of it & get excited to use it. It's extremely sturdy, my youngest one carries it from room to room to enjoy it in private.
