This product works great! However, do NOT buy the "Bags On Board" bags to go with it as they are too small and will not allow the "Skoop-N_Pak" to open wide enough to be used...

The skoop-n-pak works great for cleaning up when out for the dog walk. No more getting your hands into the mess. The garbage bag goes right over the scooper, do the thing, and then tie the bag shut. I use tall waste bags purchased at the grocery store.

The product is the best thing you can get to solve the scooping mess. Be careful with the bags you get for this product. The ones advertised here in amazon are too small and the scoop won't open enough making really hard.

One of the only things holding me back from adopting a dog was the thought of having to pick up the poop. This product solved the problem. Works great both with the included bags and with any grocery bag.

Amazing!!! I love it. It is so easy to use and durable. Most of all, it's clean!!

I originally purchased this product from Pet Smart.....used it for years until the handle cracked. Searched high and low for a replacement until I finally found it on the amazon website. It is the best little poopper scooper!

Never had to pick up after a dog til now. This works great. I put 2 or 3 plastic grocery bags over it. Never have to touch the bad stuff.

I just got my Skoop-n-Pak scooper in the morning and had the chance to use it this afternoon after a dog walk (20lb dog). I must say, this device works as advertised and sure did cut down on the "ick" factor of having to dispose the "deposit". Instead of having to touch any poop through a bag, the only real "ick" factor is still having to tie the bag, but that wasn't so bad.

For a small dog such as a 20lb one, the size of the "jaws" are fine. For a larger dog, I do see why size might be an issue. I didn't use the included bags but instead resorted to using plastic grocery bags. The included bags seemed to leave little room for tying where as with regular sized plastic grocery bags, tying the bag was no problem. Even better, if you have plenty of extra hamburger or hot dog bun bags, these seem to fit even better than regular plastic grocery bags.

What I like:

-- jaw/clamp action works fine (even on poop that aren't fully solid)
-- device seems durable
-- portable
-- price is right
-- can use regular sized plastic grocery bags or hamburger/hot dog bun bags

What I dislike:
-- included bags could be a little larger for tying.

Overall, I'm happy as this minimized the "ick" factor. The neighbors are happy as poop is picked up. My friend is happy as her carpet has been poop free. Most of all, doggie is happy as he can go out and do his stuff on a regular basis.

A well thought out device.

we have had this item for about a year now and have loved it. the only drawn back it last week the handle cracked in half. still works great but it pinches your hand every now and again. other then that it has been a great asset to have in an apartment. we actuallly also purchased a litter caddy to put the poop in after we come in from outside, instaed of walking to the dumpster on other side of the apartment complex. would strongly recommend getting that too if you live in an apartment since it fills up every 2 weeks with the 2 dogs we have.

This is our seconds "jaws of life" (as my husband gratefully refers to it) as the first one cracked after ten years of use. My morning walks with my dog are 45-60 minutes long, so holding a plastic claw with bagged poop inside is much preferred than just holding a little plastic bag of poop. And they last forever - the only reason we had to replace the previous one is because I dropped it so many times. I only wish it would work with all of the dog bags on the market, it's taken a bit of trial and error to find ones that fit.
