On the Contents page, the previous owner's name has a colorless embossed stamp with owner's name (size of a notary stamp). The last inside back board has a stamped name of the previous owner. Book is in great condition really. Total 496 pages. The boards are black with gold letterings, very attractive, however, on the front board, there are several small indentions where something was placed on the board and left several small indents on the board, no torn or damage to the board, just an indented place that one can see when held into bright light. This dictionary is a necessary tool for any convert wishing to gain better mastery over commonly used Catholic words. I would give it five stars and recommend it highly. It has a useful pronunciation guide and short description of each word meaning.
