5.0 out of 5 stars Introduction to integration, June 12, 2009
By
This review is from: Our World in Transition: Making Sense of a Changing World (Paperback)
O'Murchu offers an exceptional introduction to our cultural worldview shifting to a more integrative way of being.

O'Murchu makes neat little lists do highlight differences between the new and old ways of seeing the world. This book is easy to comprehend and illustrates the importance of honoring complexity in the world, in social groups, and in individuals.

For those seeking to understand the paradigm shift (now is a period of transition called post modern) from modern to ? This book is important. I found it easy to understand and to comprehend. O'Murchu writes clearly and is detailed where needed.

1.0 out of 5 stars A waste of your time, May 24, 2008

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Our World in Transition: Making Sense of a Changing World (Paperback)
I read this book as part of a continuing education class at Rice University. Father O'Murchu is a utopian dreamer. He dreams of a stateless world and of equality and peace on a global scale. He sees these things as an enevitable result of continuing human evolution and he supports this with all manner of pseudo scientific references couched mainly in the murky world of quantum mechanics. He has no use for the reality of human nature and chooses to completely ignore man's violent history. The main thing that amazed me about the study of this book was the number of people who actually seemed to be buying this stuff. Scary!
