5.0 out of 5 stars Can't be beat for the price.
Great grips. I use them on all my mountain bikes. Once installed properly these do not slip or twist. Much preferred to locking grips. Great for those with larger than average hands. The rubber is nice and tacky for great grip, however this means they attract dirt.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not so secure
The install instruction states that the grip needs to be "GLUED"to the handle bar. I don't want to glue it to my carbon handle bar, so I used water as lubricant. After 24 hours, I can still twist the grip. It feels very insecure.
I ordered the 22.2mm one, which turns out to be too big. (I wear large gloves).

These grips are super comfortable. I have them on my fixed gear and love them. Great padding for insulation on rough rides.

AWESOME GRIPS! There isn't really much you can say about a pair of grips, but hey these are pretty awesome. I hear they get slippery in the rain, but who the f*** rides in the rain?! LMAOOO anyway, these are pretty good. Super sticky and comfortable. If you ride them too hard, they'll leave imprints in your hands--but just readjust your hands and you're good. I bought red ones, freaking sweet! BTW, use hairspray to get them on and off--easiest way. You're welcome.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Scooter Grips, April 12, 2011

I purchased these as a replacement for the typical foam grips on my kids Razor scooters. They're difficult to get on, but after that they're perfect. My 11-year-old daughter says "they're hard, but they don't hurt. They're great because they are stable and they stay on for tricks & stuff." I myself think they're hard, but if that's what she needs to keep the scooter stable for tricks & riding, she knows best :)
Perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best...grips...ever, April 12, 2011

During the 90's, I went through two sets of these on my mountain bike, which I abused heavily. Back then, everyone I rode with knew that Oury's pretty much set the standard. They are nice and thick and the rubber has a perfect amount of give to to help absorb shock and vibration and stay comfortable. They do everything a grip should do, take a beating, come in tons of colors and don't cost that much. I was SO stoked when my wife and I decided to get back into biking and found these still on the market. The fact that these haven't changed after 15+ years should tell you something!

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort, September 15, 2009
This review is from: Oury MTN Grip (Sports)
These are the some of the most comfortable grips available. I have then on the riser bars of my Bianchi track bike and recently put another pair of my single speed project that is soon to be a 3 speeder. These grips are spongy and soft in the hand and are also great at helping to reduce wrist killing vibration. Also a must if you have huge hands like myself.

5.0 out of 5 stars best grips ever, January 9, 2010

I got my fixie a couple days ago and wanted new grips because the old ones I had were hard and had no grip. So i remember these grips i had felt before and how good they felt and remembered they were called ourys so i go to my local bike shop and pick up a pair of red ones. As i am walking out of the store i see that they come with instructions that include glue and think that that was weird so when i get back home i try to put them on and they just did not go on all the way. then i tried soap and water and they sliped right on but then they sliped back off easily. So i google it and this one person says to put zip ties with the pointed end in the grip (at least 4) and then slide them on and it works perfectly and you just pull out the zip ties whwn you are done. overall these are the most comfortable grips i have ever felt and they work perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing grips work really well!, September 16, 2011

I purchased these in black for my Rockhopper. Once I got them I kept trying to put them on and unfortunately they're very tight. I could barely get them 1/2 way on without using enough force to tear them. Cleaned the handle bars with rubbing alcohol and then sprayed a little WD-40 and they slipped on in seconds!

I don't recommend using WD-40 as it might ruin the rubber used to make these grips. But make sure you use something that allows the grips to slip on easily and will dry off later on. I didn't know you were supposed to do that and spent an hour like and idiot trying to force these on.

I bought these grips to replace my old worn out ones. These are very sticky and grippy. They were easy to install. The white does get dirty easily.
