When we last left Marnie and Nola, both girls were still on each others enemy list.
Marnie had successfully won her spot as a student council officer, soundly beating her opponent. Although sometimes MIA, her relationship with Dane was pretty perfect, although she was still crushing on Sawyer. Nola had to deal with Matt having a girlfriend, but then in the end he became single, which meant Nola was one step closer in becoming Matt's new girlfriend. Of course there is also Ian, Nola's brother's babysitter, who, although totally obnoxious, can be pretty charming and tempting.
Now Marnie and Nola are back and revenge is still on their mind.
After receiving what seemed like a sincere e-mail from Matt, Nola is more confused then ever on where they stand, or if they even have a chance at dating one another. Matt isn't budging about his family secrets and all the problems he is facing at home. But Nola really wants to know what is making him so sad. She just needs to show him that she is there for him, like a girlfriend would be. Nola still has to deal with Marnie, and now that Weston Briggs, the guy Marnie was hung up on, is back in town, this is one opportunity too good for Nola to pass up.
At first oblivious to who just moved back, Marnie soon finds herself crossing paths with Weston. She can't let this jeopardize her relationship with Dane, though, since it is still going strong, even though Sawyer is making it pretty tough for Marnie to stay loyal. Marnie starts to get a little suspicious about Lizette and Dane, since both are acting pretty weird towards each other. Marnie can't question Lizette, since it could put a damper on their friendship. But is their friendship already on the war path?
Once you're in, there's always a chance of being out.
Too many boys, so little time, since the Homecoming dance is fast approaching. Will each girl go with the guy they truly want? And can they survive all the temptations that lie ahead?
Secrets will be revealed, actions will be regretted, and betrayals will be certain. The IN OR OUT series just gets better and better.

This series is very...It's hard to explain but they use a lot of pop culture to describe things! It's not a bad thing, but i'm just saying. There is lot of drama, and I just can't reading. Great for teens! and ummmm yeah. A very awesome series XD

Revenge is sweet and vicious!, April 29, 2008
This review is from: In or Out #3: Sweet and Vicious (Paperback)
Nola and Marnie are back! Nola's parents have hired a new family babysitter named Ian, and he appears to have the hots for Nola! Marnie has finally won her spot in student council, even after all of the vandalism that she has been made to withstand. Nola's life has been a roler coaster lately and her roler coaster has been dropping ever since Matt's girlfriend came for a visit, and what's with all of his unexplained dissapearances lately? Marnie's life is still perfect, her and Lizette hang out after school, she's sort of dating Dane Harris, and she gets invited to all of the best parties... until she shows up to a big party, only to find Nola their. Making Nola cry isn't as easy as Marnie thought that it would be, and she's surprised at the sudden change in her ex-best friend.
