Cool and colorfull! still rocks..., February 18, 2005
This review is from: Out & About With Gone Jackals (Audio CD)
I started to listen to The Gone Jackals with the album Bone to Pick, then Blue Pyramid and finally Out and about... Something I allways admired of this band is that each and every song is different from the other.
This album is not the exception, it catches your complete attention from the beginning to the end (you won't skip any track, that's for sure).
Now, technically speaking, as this is the first LP of the band, you will notice that they don't have a fully developed style (like in their last album, Blue Pyramid) instead they are all the time draging you from Beatles-like-songs to punky-melodies. This last characteristic makes the album even more interesting...
My final comment.. if you are the ones who belive that the band is more than just the "Legacy" song and you appreciate it in a more deep way (as it deserves!)... buy this album.
My rating: 10/10
