Format: Board book
I've been a fan of van Genechten's work for some time. This talented author/illustrator gets right to the heart of the matter with children. But in this adorable new series, he's lighten things up a bit. Kids will learn how to sort and identify differences along with a neat twist at the end. In this book the questions revolve around location and direction and which animal on each page is ready for a dance.

This sturdy board book will hold up to plenty of wear and tear, which is good because your child will be picking it up often. Highly recommended.

I received a free copy of the book from the author's publicist. This review contains my honest opinions, which I have not been compensated for in any way.

I discovered Guido van Genechten on the Chinese Amazon site (I live in China and our family is bilingual). I bought a few of his books in Chinese, including this one and the similar "Big and Small." I'm surprised this author isn't more popular in the US because they are really great! The pictures are simple and kind of remind me of Leo Lionni or Eric Carle. I love that these books use an interesting way (looking closely at the fun pictures) to find differences. I highly recommend these books for young children. You won't be disappointed!

Our 2 year old loves this book and I (as a learning specialist and his mother) do too! It challenges them enough to keep them engaged and also helps to improve language, attention to detail and focus. Highly recommended for children aged 2-7 and maybe older!
