The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat
I recently perused this colorful book at a garage sale. What memories it brings! It traces the Cubs' 2003 season, and contains a complete list of game scores. The book is chock-full of pictures. So it was...The Cubs were up 3:1 over the Florida Marlins. And five outs from the World Series. Then it all fell apart...sob...sob...

why? the 2003 cubs won nothing. why not write a book about the 2003 devil rays as well?
