5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent example of melodic skate punk, August 26, 2001

Way back in the wake of the Green Day pop-punk revolution, Epitaph Records had a chance to sign either Millencollin or No Fun At All. They chose Millencollin, and in my opinion they chose poorly. No Fun At All are a more heavyweight, concentrated, serious band in the vein of Bad Religion or Pennywise, rather than the silly bounciness of their Swedish comrades Millencollin. The songs are fast, but the voice is very capable, and the hooks are seriously the best melodic punk hooks this side of Bad Religion. They will bore their way into your skull and never leave. Perfect if you like No Use For A Name, Lagwagon, Strung Out, Face To Face, Pulley, or Ten Foot Pole. Just be aware that their previous album No Straight Angles is excessively tuneless, and places much more emphasis on hardcore than pop-punk. Unfortunately, No Fun At All disbanded and played their final show in their hometown of Fagersta on January 26th, 2001.

5.0 out of 5 stars one of only a few albums i could give 5 out of 5, August 25, 2004
This review is from: Out of Bounds (Audio CD)
This album is awsome, its fast and catchy, less hardcore than some of there stuff and a bit more punk rock.
pretty much all the songs are up beat and have a good rockin sound that doesnt sound poppy, there are some really good lyrics in there like the song 'in a ryhme' and 'invitation' (which i cant belive they didnt put on Master Celebrations.)
I only bought this album because i saw the video of Master Celebrator and i thought i better get this album, and i was not dissapointed because, alot of the songs are better than that one.
So if youve seen there videos and like them but dont own any NFAA defenetly get this one.

This punk guys know what they maked and is the result of tons of ¨acordes¨. Is a must-own cd of No fun at all. I liked very much and for special ¨talking to remind me¨ song. A very good album. Cesar Lillo
