Louise (Sophia Myles) is an alienated boarding school student in the midst of a hot and heavy affair with the husband of her headmistress, Veronica (Sophie Ward). Suspicion and passion hang in the air of the isolated campus until Matthew (George Asprey) suddenly disappears. Fearing the worst, Louise struggles to uncover what happened to her lover, but is foiled at every turn by Veronica, who begins to take a sadistic glee in the psychological torment she inflicts upon her. When a mysterious woman appears around the campus, Louise becomes convinced that she is being framed for the murder of Matthew, or even worse, being set up to be the next victim. Alone and friendless, Louise must keep herself alive long enough to uncover the truth of Mathew's disappearance.

I was expecting a better romantic scene (only one) for my favorite actress, Sophia Myers.

Maybe its the British accent that made me to rewind several scenes to fully understood the speakers.

Is there more than one version of this film? When I looked at all the info that was on the Amazon site, it clearly stated under Rating that this film was NC-17. Here is what I saw: Out of Bounds
Sophia Myles (Actor Rated: NC-17 Format: DVD

I went ahead and ordered a used copy since I am a fan of Sophia Myles, but when mine cane in, it clearly showed the little red and white circle on the bottom left with a 15 in the center of said circle. The back has the same circle with the statement, "Suitable only for persons of 15 years and over."

I am not complaining as such, but just curious if maybe Amazon got the rating wrong. IMDb doesn't show a rating at all.

Finally, from I have seen of the movie, it is excellent. The reason I have not seen it all is that I preview some of it, when it first arrives, just to make sure it works, then I watch it at a later time.

Lifesize Entertainment and Releasing is flagrantly breaching the filmmakers' copyright by continuing to release 'Out of Bounds' Region 1 on DVD. Our contract with Lifesize Entertainment expired in November 2004 and the company has no right to continue releasing the film on DVD. We have received no money from Lifesize from any of the sales and we are taking appropriate actions to prevent the company from continuing to sell and trade in the Region 1 DVD. We are planning on remastering the film to High Definition and hope to re-release it in a superior format within a year. In the meantime, please purchase the Region 2 version distributed by Amazon.co.uk as per the details below:
