Finally we see some willingness to admit feelings from Anando. My goodness the man is stubborn!

You know, when Anando totally wigged out that Halloween night when he and Virginia played their role-playing game, I knew there had to be something behind it. His reaction was way to strong to Virginia's questions. Yes, she pushed *rolling eyes*, but did he really have to pull a Houdini act? Now that I know why, I feel slightly mollified. I still think he over-reacted though and obviously Mary thought so as well. She wasn't about to let her Childe run away from a HEA. Don't you just love busybody parents?

I loved how all of a sudden this last story in the series is told from Anando's POV. The change in the rhythm was really refreshing. Now we know what he's feeling. I could appreciate how he recognized who he was, inside and out, warts and all. When he was able to put away his past to move forward - on to his future - I silently cheered.

I loved, Loved, LOVED this series and I'm sad to see it finished. I'm POSITIVE I would read more about Anando and Virginia and their games. There's lot's of stuff out there that they can still explore - there goes that damn imagination again.

Kallysten's "tales of love and seduction" are sexy and hot! I mean like, super sauna hot. So grab a story and go for a steam!

The Cover

Did you notice the cover? Virginia and Anando flipped sides! The fact that a cover can reveal so much with it's simple image makes me smile. For some reason - probably my overactive imagination and the voices in my head - "The eyes are the window to the soul", just flitted through my mind. Hmmm...
