The special edition from EPMD's latest and maybe last work "Out of Bussines" is good. In fact the highlight is the 2nd CD - Greatest Hits - in wich you can listen some of their greatest sucess. Well, I've only listened to a few of their songs, but I always read that they were good and represented the NYC underground. No doubt, in the beggining they sounded raw, with tight beats, courtesy of ms. Erick Sermon. But when you listen their last album, u feel they changed a lil'bit, in fact it's a boring CD, they seem tired...They don't rhyme with the same fury & passion... But if u don't know their work, u betta copy it, cause it really worths your money.

Eric and Parish Makin Dollars again,

One bangin track after another. What could be better than a new album with a second disc of their best joints? Peep the symphony 2000. It is off the hook. This is a better but for the money than to spend your scrilla on the double instead of getting the single disc and then buyin the greatest hits when it comes out by itself.

The soud is vary good and clean. Have not had any problems with it at all. This & other old school hits are the real Hip-Hop, not the new junk that is out there now.

EPMD is back wtih another smooth-flowing album. It's just tight all the way around. I've always been a fan of EPMD because their rhymes make sense and they talk about stuff that is easy to relate to. For example, the old hits like Please Listen to My Demo and It's My Thang make you wannna kick back and recite a lil freestyle of your own. And of course the new tracks(Symphony 2000, Pioneers...) are hype as well. They have always had good hooks and this album is no exception. Buy it for the love of rap that you can ride to and understand. Eric & Parrish makin dollars and makin hits too. Peace.

Another reviewer said it best after the breakup EPMD just wasn't the same. Even with that if your an EPMD fan you should have this in your collection and there are some cool songs. Also don't bother getting the limited edition. The greatest hits CD seems to have been remixed and just doesn't do justice to their original hits.
