I got hold of this book nine or ten years ago. While I liked it, it scared me enough at the time that I threw it away. But I've thought of it off and on since then...because I can't remember how it ended. And having gotten into a few vampire series in recent years, and decided to try to find it again. And I finally did. I don't remember a whole lot about it, but will add to this review once it arrives and I can read it again. The very fact that I've been looking for it for so long should tell you it's a pretty good book though. :)

Per the cover: "In the fifteenth century he had been a man -- in the twentieth, he was a vampire!" This is the story of a vampire who seeks revenge on the "creature" who made him less than a man. In his quest for revenge he meets and falls in love with a mortal woman. Very suspenseful book!
