Light, easy read. MM romance--not real, but then who reads MMR for true stories. The story starts out very differently than the previous story ended (needs better editing/planning).
I have all of the books in this series, and I reread them regularly when I need a quick pick-me-up.

Format: Paperback
After thoroughly enjoying the first three David Windsor-Shane Thompson novels [Condor One, Talons of the Condor & Condor and Falcon], I was surprised and delighted to find Out of the Gilded Cage listed on an upcoming list on another site.

I was not pleased to find that it was not available for my Kindle here and kept hoping the Kindle edition would pop up. With the release of the novel yesterday, I eagerly scanned Amazon's Kindle store once again and was once again disappointed. Unable to wait, I purchased the ebook through another publisher's site and transferred the novel via USB to my Kindle.

I finished it in one morning [I read very fast] and got to the end and wanted more! And I want to go back and reread the previous installments as well. Too bad Amazon lost a sale to me because they couldn't be bothered to make the Kindle edition available.

Former President David Windsor and his husband former Secret Service Agent Shane Thompson still make a formidable couple as they tackle life after the White House. Starting a family, doing good works and helping President Victoria Winters all seem like a part of a normal life for these two men.

And what makes them special is not that they are gay but they are special men that just happen to be gay. I look forward to more adventures with the Thompson-Windsor Family and hopefully someone at Amazon will get on the ball before they lose more potential sales to other publisher sites.

UPDATE - obviously they now have a Kindle edition. Yay!!
