4.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have!, August 9, 2001
This review is from: Out of Nowhere (Audio CD)
I never really liked the types of song that Gloria Estefan makes, but I was surprised when I picked up this single. Here are the tracks:

Track 1: "Out Of Nowhere (Thunderpuss Radio Edit)" (3:49)- This is a shorter version of the Thunderpuss Club Mix. (see track 4)

Track 2: "Out of Nowhere (Metro Radio Edit)" (3:41)- This is a radio friendly version of the Metro Extended Remix. (see track 7)

Track 3: "Out of Nowhere (Boris & Reck Radio Edit)" (2:47)- This is the shortest radio edit. It's a shorter version of the Boris & Beck Uplifting Club Mix. (see track 6)

Track 4: "Out of Nowhere (Thuderpuss Club Mix)" (8:48)- This mix has a lot of congo drums in it. It also has some cool vocal edits.

Track 5: "Out of Nowhere (Obadam's Afro-Samba Mix)" (7:42)- This mix adds some samba beats to it which makes you get up and dance. It still has its latin beats.

Track 6: "Out of Nowhere (Boris & Beck Uplifting Club Mix)" (7:42)- This adds some new beats, but still keeps its latin elements.

Track 7: "Out of Nowhere (Metro Extended Remix)" (6:29)- This remix is totally different; all of the latin beats are taken out and Metro made it sound like its from the 70s' disco club.

Track 8: "Out of Nowhere (Vito Andolini's High Desert Mix)" (8:45)- This version of "Out of Nowhere is very different & dark. Vito Andolini adds a middle-east feel to this song. The only bad part of this song is that its more of a dub, but that's really bad unless you dislike dubs. (like I do)

Track 9: "Y-Tu-Conga (Unreleased Mix)" (7:52)- This song is kinda slow and the CD would of been better without this song.

Buy this CD; you'll won't regret it!

5.0 out of 5 stars NOTHING SLOWS DOWN THIS LATINA DIVA, February 28, 2002

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST REMIX COLLECTION, OF A SINGLE SONG, I HAVE HEARD EVER!!!
DOES THIS WOMAN REALIZE HOW MUCH TALENT AND DIVERSITY SHE HAS? HER RANGE IF FROM CLUB TO HOUSE TO TECHNO TO EVEN DISCO. NOTHING IS TOO OBSCURE FOR HER. SHE LETS HER ENGINEERS, PRODUCER-HUSBAND AND EVEN THE DJ'S DO THEIR MAGIC; AND THE RESULT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD.
I DO NOT HAVE A PARTICULAR FAVORITE ON THIS COLLECTION-BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE UNFAIR TO THE REST OF THE CD. THIS CD EXPLODES WITH DANCE MUSIC. EVEN THE CLUB KIDS WOULD AGREE, SHE JAMS!!!
KEEP ON GOING GLORIA. THANKS TO YOU WE HAVE A NEW DANCE QUEEN: GLORIA ESTEFAN THE MODERN DAY QUEEN OF DANCE!!!
