This review is from: Out of the saltbox: The savour of old Vermont (Hardcover)
A personal history of the Rupert and Dorset area of Southern Vermont. I have found the author's style of writing to be very interesting. She gives good daily life stories that make the reader feel as though you lived the experiences with her. Good details about the area so anyone who has ever been in the area knows exactly the location she is talking about. After reading this book (and her other one on Southern Vermont)I have a much better knowledge about early life in the New England area. It was hard but it had great rewards as well.
