Maureen Mcgovern has an exquisite as well as magnetic and mesmerizing voice. From the first song I ever heard her sing to the most recent, never ceases to amaze and astonish my senses! Her album, "Out of This World" is no exception. In my opinion all of her albums rate 5 stars. Her voice is the highest form of perfection personified,truly the perfect voice of an angel. After listening to her music for almost 28 years I would recognize her voice anywhere! Maureen, I hope you keep on singing and making albums for years to come, there are millions of happy people in this world because of your music.

Prepare for a dream of an album. Ms. McGovern takes divine classics and turns them downside-up, and outside-in. She can make you hear an old song as though for the first time. Creamy, dreamy, seamless singing...they are songs you'll recognize, but she sure gets them under her control and has HER WAY with them. "Sleepin' Bee", "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead", and "Accentuate The Positive" keep on surprising. Turn the lights down, turn the music up, and just TRY to catch your breath.
