5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended March 22, 2012

Amanda has a secret she has a secret she kept from her husband Josh. Her guilt and grief cause her to push him away and they divorce. She moves back to her hometown with their daughter Kristi and builds her life around her. She's planning Kristi's 6th birthday party when she receives a suprise in the mail. The local authorities don't take her seriously and she reluctantly calls Josh for help. They both still love the other but there's so much pain and anger from not talking. Both must learn to trust in each other before they both lose what's most important. I really sympathized with Amanda and loved Josh. He was very protective and yet sensitive and supportive. His understanding and unwavering support helped Amanda in revaling her secret that she had been living with. I really enjoyed the story and the suspense and romance between the two characters. Kristi was adorable and the family element was an added bonus. Give this book a try and you won't be disappointed.

Loved this book! A page-turner as I wanted to know who the stalker was, and the author nails her characters until you are living them. Absolutely a great read.

5.0 out of 5 stars A real page turner May 21, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This was the first book I read by this author and it will make a great addition to my library. This story is about lack of communications between two adults and making bad decisions that impacted the entire family. While they are trying to handle the fear of the stalker, they are slowing making their way back to each other. This was truly a moving story and I felt their emotions. I could not wait to read to find out what the stalker was. I would definetly recommend this book!

More About the Author

A transplanted Scot, Margery now divides her time between her home on a lake in Canada and a small house in central Florida.

To Margery, writing in only one genre is like eating only one kind of candy. Boring. A late bloomer, Margery didn't start writing until she found herself with an empty nest, some free time, and an old standard typewriter her father found somewhere she'd rather not think about. She still has the empty nest on a lake far away from the city, but the typewriter has been replaced by a computer and free time is a thing of the past. Margery writes all across the genre board as the muse and the mood hit her, but these days she tends to stick to either historical romance or romantic suspense. When she's not writing or traveling in search of the perfect setting for her next novel, you can usually find her wielding a pair of knitting needles or a pool cue. Margery loves to hear from her readers. You can reach her at and follow her on Facebook and Twitter.
