About Time to Give the Man The Credit He Deserves!, April 23, 2003
This review is from: Keep Out-We Are Toxic (Audio CD)
Snowy White is one of the best guitarists in Rock history, and certainly the most underrated today.
The man has a very impressive CV to say the least.
Playing with Thin Lizzy, Peter Green, and being chosen by Roger Waters to take Gilmour's leads in The Wall Berlin Concert did not happen by chance!
But Snowy White is no session guitarist, he is rather a very talented song writer in his own right, writing songs that alternate between blues, ballads, and melodic symphonic rock, with his great solos throughout.
He was made famous earlier in his solo career by one beautiful song, Bird Of Paradise, from his White Flame album, but all his output since has been great.
The self titled Snowy White with classic tracks such as Land of Freedom and Fortune is in my opinion a must for all serious music lovers and my personal best, Keep Out we're Toxic comes close second and is a very powerful album indeed. The title track stands out, and is a mind blowing epic with his trademark solo, but all the songs, from the bluesy to the slightly funky to the ballads are classics.
What distinguishes Snowy White from other Guitarists/Song Writers is his warm voice, and his talent at writing songs that are quite original.
This artist should finally receive his dues.

Amazing CD!, September 28, 2011
I was very glad to find this in MP3 format, as the actual disc was very expensive. This is one great album, consisting of mellow blues-rock with a sort of hard edge... sort of pink floyd-ish. Anyhow, if you're any kind of fan of snowy white, one of the guitarists on the excellent Thin Lizzy LP Chinatown, then you'll probably like his playing here. If you're unfamiliar with him, I highly recommend his music, especially if you like guitar stuff.

A Great Guitarist, April 15, 2011
I've always thought that the best talent is often undiscovered by the masses and Snowy White is a prime example. Snowy White has put out a lot of great albums and this one is at the top of the list. Backed by his long time and tight rhythm section, he has created a masterpiece with this album. Almost every song on this CD is the stuff classics are made of. There are three extra songs on this disc that were not on the import version I bought - so of course I bought the MP3's and the extra cuts are tastefully done Snowy White 'mini jams'. Snowy has played with greats like Peter Green, Pink Floyd, Al Stewart and Thin Lizzy to name a few but he can easily stand alone and does so strongly on this disc.
