5.0 out of 5 stars Posh solo spice, August 31, 2002

Victoria was the last Spice Girl that tries to be a solo vocalist. This was her first song. And it's really well done. Although the 2-step sound may at first sound strange to the Spice Girls-Fans I'm sure it will grow on them.
It's very nice to dance to it.
The mixes are well done and also 2-step like

5.0 out of 5 stars Just Awesome, June 3, 2001
This review is from: Out Of Your Mind [UK CD] (Audio CD)
The first time I heard this song I was totally blown away by it. Then I discovered that the lead vocalist was Victoria Beckham (aka Posh Spice). Just an awesome song. Who'd have thought that Victoria could actually sing as well as she does on this CD. Not quite sure how this didn't get to #1 in the UK as it was much better than Spiller's 'Groove Jet (if this ain't love). I listen to this continuously as I just can't get enough of it. Well done Victoria - can't wait for you album to be released later this year.

Don't be fooled by her "name" or the weak first single. It's a good 2 Step track that makes you dance. Her voice is only average but therefore it's Miss Vic. She's really glam

5.0 out of 5 stars Out of Your Mind - Victoria Beckham, D Bowers & Truesteppers, March 14, 2002
This review is from: Out Of Your Mind [UK CD] (Audio CD)
Victoria Beckham and Dane Bowers team up with UK Dance Team "Truesteppers" to create an awesome 2-Step, Dance track. Victoria Beckham, you might know as the "Posh" one of the now seperated SPICE Girls, and Dane Bowers has released a few single throughout the UK. The "Truesteppers" are a UK 2-Step dance team and have released a few dance tracks that have topped the Dance Charts.
Anyway, this single, although short, only 3 tracks, does give satisfaction the customer. The remixes are great, giving an edgy 2-Step tune turned into a techno/pop dance track. Although not a club mix, it is playable in a dance club. Beckham gives exceptional vocals teaming with Dane Bowers, and comes off as a "very hidden" talent behind all the SPICE image. She was the one who always looked fabulous and never sung. Well, now she;s on her way with a Top Ten Album in the UK! Here are my reviews of the tracks:

1. Radio Edit - This is the original version a lot of people might have heard. It's very 2-Step meets techno beats in a way. It's very edgy, great vocals by both partners, Beckham & Bowers. This was a Top 5 hit, reaching to No. 2! Victoria Beckham hits thr bulls-eye with a successful solo-attempt, and Bowers gives a great performance. 5/5: A+++

2. 10 Degrees Below Vs. X-Men Vocal Mix - The remix! Yay! This kind of "pops" it up a little bit, but it does keep the original in tact. It's at the same pace of vocals, but is sped up a little. It's more 2-Step than dance or anything other. Still a good remix, not bad! 5/5: A

3. 10 Degrees Below Dub - It's just one side of the Vocal mix dubbed into about a 4 minute mix. It's got no vocals, which I really don't like, so this is kind of a waste of space on a good CD, a club mix, by a good remixer should've taken it's place. 2/5: C

There are some highs on this single, but closes out very badly. The dub is not great, but it's not terrible. The remix version and the Radio Edit are great, but the "Dub" kind of weakens the single. But, Beckham, Bowers & Truesteppers do pull off a great single for hearing pleasure. Worth the wait for Beckham's debut, check out her album "Victoria Beckham"! Very cool! Dane Bowers and Truesteppers are great as well. Very Enjoyable Single! Statistics:

Average Song Grade: 4
Single Overall Grade: 4.5

Letter Grade : A

4.0 out of 5 stars Great song, and so is Victoria, November 22, 2000
This review is from: Out Of Your Mind [UK CD] (Audio CD)
Its a known fact that Mrs. Victoria Beckham cant sing, which is why during her stint with the Spice Girls they let her sing on very few tracks. However, with the recording industry being what it is, its no matter that a singer cant sing. As this single demonstrates.

Teaming up with Dane Bowers, Victoria delivers her best vocal performance to date, and its also the first time shes done a song outside of the Spice Girls. This single is catchy, infectious, and a must-buy for American audiences who havent heard it on the radio. Sure, its an import, but definitely worth the amount you pay for it. This was a No. 2 hit back in the UK, and stayed on the charts for long. A lovely dance tune, and certainly sets the stage for Victoria's solo effort, due out in 2001.

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing song.....such a turning point in pop!, November 21, 2000
This review is from: Out Of Your Mind [UK CD] (Audio CD)
i saw the video for "Out Of Your Mind" when I was on a summer trip in Ireland, and i was absolutely breathtaken. I was already aware of this song, from being a spice girls fan. I fell in love with the song, and the day it came out, I had to snatch up a copy ..., and I still listen to it non-stop, and now i am a huge fan of Truesteppers. It's a must have, I recommend it highly.

I can say that I was a lil' wary to listen to this song becuase it featured a Spice Girl, but after listening to the song, I was very surprised. Victoria can actually sing! I like how they have the computerized voices, which make it sound different. Dane Bowers is absolutely awesome with Victoria. The computerized sound is becoming big in British music, and this song helps it get off the ground. Don't let the fact that it's a Spice Girl turn you off to this song, because this is a fabulous song!

I heard this song on mp3 and was shocked at how good it was. Victoria beckham along with dane bowers make a wonderful techo dance number worthy of clubs around the world. Victoria proves critics wrong with a distinctive voice. The song is one of the UK's top 20 of 2000 and has become an international sensation. I completely recommend this cd single.

4.0 out of 5 stars True Steppin, March 14, 2001
This review is from: Out Of Your Mind [UK CD] (Audio CD)
Trueateppers combine an amazing video with an amazing tune so therefore you should buy it.I like the X Men remix because it has a simple tune and is kinda catchy.Dane's heavy breathing in the middle is also an added attraction. The 10 Below dub is okay but it has little vocals , lacks tune and has no personal appeal..but don't let that stop you. It's a good single ,but if you don't like garage or synthesizers , don't buy it.
