Came across this by accident and very glad I did. Very interesting western with interesting people that you get to know.Follow Tom Cade, a preachers son, on his journey as we watch a young man grow into a gun fighter. Found this hard to put down and have started the second volume in this series. Hope there are many more to come. Don't think you will be disappointed with the story. A very good read.

Tom Cade thinks he has a hard life growing up the son of a preacher in the hills of Tennessee. A few bad choices force him to grow up fast. Before long he learns the hard way that trouble seems to find some men more than others and that feuds can't always be avoided. This is good storytelling. The main character is likeable and the author does a good job developing Tom Cade. Good start to a promising new series. |
