A 7.5gallon stainless steel pot and a burner for $60 with shipping? Sign me up! This little setup is a great bargain for any homebrewer. I was able to heat 6.5gal of water to a boil in less than 25 minutes while it was snowing. The pot is pretty good. While it does have a seam running down one whole side, it seems to hold up quite well. I'm going to convert it into a hot liquor tank by adding a stainless steel ball valve for use in my three-tier setup.

This is almost a perfect vessel for boiling your wert if you're a home brewer. Avoid boil overs by cooking outside with this unit, and you're all set!

I think I ended up ordering/exchanging ~7 of these because everyone came with a pot that was dented all over it (formed creases along the walls of the pot). I finally was able to get one that was moderate and decided to just keep it.

I am using this cooking set to brew beer outside. It's powerful burner brings the wort to a boil very quickly even when it is 15 degrees outside. The 30 quart stainless kettle is a little on the thin side, but you can't beat the price. Brewing supply stores want ~$75 for the same size kettle making this kit a great buy. The stand is very stable and gets the pot up higher than most burners. The thermometer hole in the lid is very handy, as you can monitor temp while steeping without having to look through a steam cloud.

This Eastman cooking set was a steal at $49.99. I went back to buy another one and the price was increased by about $20.00+. It is Stainless steel stockpot with everything pictured plus the regulator for the burner. I couldn't be more pleased!

I bought this setup for the stockpot. Everything else was a bonus. The kettle is perfect for doing full boils of 5 gallon recipies. One of the other reviews says there is a seam down the side, but mine doesn't have one. I paid $60 (shipping included) so this was a steal.

I purchased this strickly for homebrewing(beer). The burner is more than enough, the kettle did its purpose as did the thermometer, and the other utensils were not used. This was a cheap alternative to getting into home brewing and was more than adequate. Yes I would recommend for this purpose.

Bought this for brewing beer. I thought because of the thin walls and bottom there would be scorching. Not true. This pot works great! The burner could use some re-engineering though. I see welds that are going to break eventually, but it will do for now. Plenty of flame control on the burner. It does pump out some heat too. I brought a full 6 gallons of wort to a full boil in around 20 minutes at 30F ambient temps. This has been great for me and will continue to use until I can afford a 14 gallon boil kettle. Buy it, it will work fine for beer. ;-)
