High quality Light Cube - Virtually indestructible with 4 levels of brightness from soft to intensive levels.
From the remote control you can choose from 8 colors. (White, Red, Lime Green, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Baby Blue)
You can decide to have the cube be green one day and red the next day for instance. From the included remote control you can also program the cube to revolve between the colors - you decide the speed and brightness.
This light cube is designed for indoor and outdoor use, it is waterproof and can also be used for lighting in the pool, spa or anywhere the ultimate light experience is desired.
It is a great accent light for indoor or out, - and the perfect light light for any kid's room - and it even works as a night light.
It is strong that it holds 300 lbs - so it can be used as a stool or side table.
UPDATED:
This is the Second Generation of our popular light cube. We have made a few improvements from the First Generation. Firstly the light cube now comes with plug-in charger instead of a charger base. It now plugs in similar to a cell phone charger. This allows the cube to be plugged in continuously while beeing in use, and you can leave it for charging for as long as you like. This upgrade also allows for quicker charging.
Secondly we completly re-tooled the box itself. The First Generation used two hafs glued together to make the cube. This left an inevitable seam around the cube. We are now molding the cube in one piece to avoid this. Lastly we upgraded the LED component so it is now 50% brighter.

Well, shipping took a while due to the product being on back-order. I wish the product listing had been updated, as I was unaware of the back-order until a week after I placed my order.
The cubes finally arrive this week, and I was very impressed with them. Being LED bulbs, you never know how bright they will actually be until you see it in person. Fortunately, the bulbs inside the cube are very bright, and fully illuminated the cube in vibrant hues of red, green, blue, yellow, pink, purple, and white. The remote control allows you to change colors, increase/decrease brightness, and control the speed at which the colors change automatically (if you have the color-changing function enabled).
Only a few disappointments:
1) I thought the cube would be one seamless piece of molded plastic, but there is a definite "seam" running across the middle of it. This won't be noticeable at night when the cube is lit up, but it definitely breaks the clean, "high budget" look that you are probably going for with these cubes.
2) the charging base is not weatherproof. This means you need to bring the cubes inside to charge them.
3) the directions clearly state that it is "IMPERATIVE" for you to remove the cube from the charging station as soon as it's finished charging. I was planning on leaving the cubes plugged in at all times, since I don't really need to move them around, and didn't want to bother moving them on and off of the charging station. Well, that's not possible. Not only is the charging station indoors-only, but the cube cannot stay on it for longer than 4 hours. So if you plan to use these on a regular basis, you are going to be porting them back and forth between the patio and wherever your charging station is located, but can't leave it there for more than 4 hours.
Overall, it's a very well-made product considering the price tag. But don't expect it to match the build quality of the ones sold by Design Within Reach. But like I said, for the price, it's amazing.

We purchased 8 of these to use as seating for a digital dome at a conference. They were a HUGE hit! We got lots of compliments. They worked well, and held a charge for the entire 8 hours each day. Also, they were shipped really quickly after we ordered them. Highly recommend!
