The size should be provided in the description. I wanted to find a watertight box for a first aid kit for my boat, and almost passed on this item because of the lack of dimensions. Then I read one of the reviews where the author had used it for their first aid kit and found it large enough. SO I took a chance and ordered it. I'm glad that I did.

The outside dimensions are about 7 inches wide, 6 inches deep, and 4 inches high. I say "about" because the box is slightly tapered from top to bottom. It's actually a bit larger in width and depth because of the latches, hinge, and attachment points for a lanyard. I measured at about the center point of the dimensions, and the interior is a bit smaller to allow for the thickness of the plastic.

This is well constructed box of heavy grade clear plastic with a steel pin for the hinge and solid latches with a waterproof sealing gasket. There is a rubber lanyard on one end and an attachment point on the opposite end for a second lanyard. Warning labels on the box state the item cannot be used in a microwave, and it should not be submerged. Given that there is a sealing gasket, I'm guess the warning about being submerged means not to use it scuba diving - I doesn't look like it will withstand too much sea pressure.

I packed all the items I want to carry for a well-stocked first aid kit and there was plenty of room. Having a clear plastic box means I was able to arrange my items so the labels could be seen from the outside of the box on each side and less chance of forgetting what I have inside.

I capsized my kayak and the box had my cell and camera in it.The box was totally submerged and my items were totally dry!!

i was looking for a waterproof box for my camping first aid gear when i stumbled upon this box. reading all the good reviews, i decided to purchase one, but what arrived looked very little like the image pictured here.

the box i received was a dark blue color. while still semi-transparent, i had thought i was purchasing a colorless product. this was my intent, as visibility was an important factor in my choice.

also, had it not been for another reviewer, i would have had no idea how big this box really was. as it is, the box i received is still smaller than those measurements. yet another flaw.

in retrospect, perhaps i received a different product, however i looked at the labels on it, and it would seem i received the 'correct' item.

also, when i peeled the stickers off, they left a considerable amount of residue.

this box may be waterproof, but it certainly isn't as it is advertised. please beware when purchasing.

This box seems to be well built. I'm using mine as a Medical Kit, to keep the contents dry. It can fit a lot inside but is also not to bulky. The latches seem strong and well built so far. No complaints. At the time I bought this it was on sale and a good price.

Seems like a good box - sturdy and well constructed - I just thought it was going to be quite a bit bigger. Will keep things like small electronics (phone, camera etc) and wallets dry but if you are truly looking for a LARGE box this probably isn't it. I think it's about 1/2 the size of a shoe box.

I ordered two of these boxes to house copies of important papers in my emergency kit. I appreciate the other reviewer giving the dimensions of the box so I knew what to expect. I haven't yet dunked them in water to test their true water tightness but they look sturdy and what I want in a box.

I purchased this box because it has an O-Ring that seals it from water, moisture, and outside air. I use it to store some ammo for my Glock 27 and Bushmaster M4A3. The product does its job well; however, the problem is that the box is a lot smaller than what I had expected. I saw that it was advertised as being "Large Watertight Box,' but it is not. Maybe my eyes are getting old, but I don't see any details of the size of the box on the website. Don't call something "Large" when it is not... Or at least tell us what the dimensions are, so we have a good idea what "Large" means. The box can only store 1/3rd of my ammo that I was going to put into it, and it can't hold any of my M4 mag due to its size. If you are looking for a midsize clear/water tight box, then this is it... If you are looking for a large box to hold a lot of stuff, then look elsewhere.

There were no dimensions listed when I bought it so here they are:
-External: 7-5/8 in. long x 6-1/2 in. wide at the lid (with hinges/latches); 6-3/4 in. long x 5-1/2 in. wide at the bottom (not incl. the exterior stiffeners on the outside wall); 3-5/8 in. high.
-Internal: 6-5/8 in. long x 5-1/4 in. wide (both at the top) x 2-3/4 in. high (without lid), lid has 3/4 in. of height. There is a slight bit of taper to the walls so expect to lose a little of the internal dimensions at the bottom.

This is made in China and the body of the box is marked as #7 plastic type ("Other") which supports the advertised spec that this is polycarbonate. It seems durable enough for most uses for a box of this size.

I dunked one for 30 seconds in two feet of water and it did not allow water to get in. Not bad for this price. I have not had a chance to empty the boxes out and dunk them deeper/longer since.

There are 1-inch strap loops on either end of this box near the lid. Mine came with a cheap plastic strap attached to one of the loops with a stainless steel 1-inch split ring on one end. The strap does not look like it will hold much weight so you may want to replace it with a nylon strap of something else if you want a handle on it or secure it reasonably well (esp. if you are rafting). The plastic strap that came with it gets VERY brittle when it is cold (it was 25-30 degrees Fahrenheit when I grabbed it by the strap and it crumbled).

The metal pin on the full-length hinge does not attract a magnet so it is not going to rust.

Very good quality, keeps everything dry and safe from the weathers elements. We use this on our boat to keep our phones and cameras safe from the inclement weather and salt water.

This box was smaller than I hoped but it is rock solid. Besides the size, this thing rocks! To give you an idea of the size, it's a very comparable size to one of those old school lunch boxes that came with a thermos.
