I have decided to add additional comments to my last review. IF the zipper fail (see below) was the fault of the airport/airline, the failure of the bag's seams is not. The airline repaired the zipper mentioned below. However, on only the second time of using the bag, the bag's seams at one end failed. Clothes were in the main compartment and two pair of shoes (one kids and one ladies) were in the end that failed. No excuses. Very poor construction. Buyer beware. I have just taken this bag out to the trash can. (I am going to try to add pictures so that you can see with your own eyes.)
Before buying most products I usually consult Amazon.com to see the user reviews. I noticed that this bag had a very good rating of 4.5. I noted the lower reviews and went with purchasing the bag. I do quite a bit of traveling and wanted a light weight but durable bag. I was pleased when I opened the packaging from Amazon. The bag "looked" good. I began to pack it. Like the reviewer which gave this product a 1 star, the liner between the main and side compartments ripped while I was packing the bag. I didn't have time to send back and reorder, so I pressed on packing. I went to the airport and checked the bag. When I got to my destination the bag was open, having had the zipper fail. It seems that both the zippers w/pulls were torn off. I understand that zippers can get caught in baggage reclaim machines/belts. However, I do A LOT of traveling, and this was the first time this has happened to a piece of my luggage. For that reason I have given the review score and I would not purchase this bag again, nor recommend it...if used as "luggage". Since I live overseas and the airline offered to repair the zipper, I will do that instead of returning.
