Overall a good purchase, this jacket is very lightweight and does a nice job blocking the elements during everyday use.

Some things I would note:

1. It is not as well-insulated as some other softshell jackets. It makes up for this by being very lightweight, but if it's cold out be prepared to wear a fleece underneath. I bring it along backpacking and I appreciate how lightweight it is. With a nice fleece underneath, it kept me warm walking around town in 15-20 degree weather over the winter. By itself it's probably perfect for daily use in 35-50 degree weather.

2. If you are out in rain for a while, it will soak through within a few minutes. It will keep you dry running around town to and from your car, but don't expect much more.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it. Very lightweight and breathable, yet keeps the wind off and most importantly, keeps him dry in the Northwest weather. Fits pretty true to size. He is 6"4.
