The material is great, very comfortable, seems pretty durable (we'll see with time), flexible and unobtrusive.

No adverting large sticker or logo, I actually wear this to work and it looks like a quasi-work office pants.

This is my 4th hiking pants/ outdoor style, got one for REI, Nike ACG, and Arc'Teryx. They are all different color so I can wear each style almost each day of the week.

Build:
Look very good for a $100. Material is lightweight, 1 ply, but not as paper thin as Arc'Teryx but not as thick as the middle weight Nike ACG and REI. No zipper or velcro at the leggings. I m no the slim type so I have to get a wider waist and shorting the legging. The Nike has a zipper, and the REI has velcro which make the pants more expensive and hard to trim. It also has the tamper pants look which I don't like.

Fit:
For me this the best fitting pant of all my outdoor pants. The legging is got the straight cut. The material is softer. Pocket are on the right situation. No adverting large sticker or logo, I actually wear this to work and it looks like a quasi-work office pants.

This is the best fitting pants I gotten, if it was a little cheaper then it would be perfect.

The material is great, very comfortable, seems pretty durable (we'll see with time), flexible and unobtrusive. Fits close to the leg, which is attractive; But the waist is definitely bigger than expected. The 30 waist was too big for me so my roommate bought them from me (he's about a 32 or 33 waist). They fit him great and so far he loves em.

I have these pants in both the charcoal and the walnut, having picked them up for backpacking trips and hikes. I would warn that the walnut is notably lighter than the image would have you believe. I was hoping for a caramel color and got something much closer to a light khaki.

They are lightweight, stretchy, and fall somewhere between a slim and standard fit. They are reinforced in both the crotch and the knees and hold up well on the trail. Pants are water resistant, quick drying but breathable. My complaints are minor - the front pockets are a little shallow, the zipper pocket on the right leg is a little deeper than I would want, and the back wallet pocket has a stubby zipper that isn't always the easiest to pull open. Definitely need a belt for these unless it's a snug fit because the belt loops are thick and the material is lightweight throughout.

Overall, they are a very versatile pair of pants to wear on the trail. They've got some give to them but they are very well constructed. Fine to wear out casually as well for a laid back evening.

After reading a write-up somewhere that these are the best outdoor pants to come along in quite a while, I ordered a pair and have not been very pleased. Used them as camp pants for a 5 1/2 day, 330 mile bicycle trip from DC to Pittsburgh and they were fantastic. Comfortable, lightweight, dried quickly when we got soaked and up to scuffing and sitting and pushing through brush at campsites. They're cool when it's hot and warm enough on the recent mornings when the temps for the dog's first walk are in the high 40s. I'm 6', 215lbs, 36-38 waist, 32 inseam. I'll definitely buy another pair.

I was in the market for a good set of outdoor hiking pants.

I was tired of the relaxed "loose-leg" fit of hiking pants out there.

When I saw the slimmer look, I wanted a set.

Bottom line - they are slimmer, lightweight, and now my favorite pants.

I have a 33" inch waist, and would recommend to err on the side of the smaller size.

I purchased a size 34" and a size 32" waist, and the size 32" inch waist fits me perfectly. (I am a short 5' 4" inches tall, but stocky at 155 pounds. I am not fat at all).

I have been sporting these on backpacking trips, and around town since the first day they arrived.

Absolutely love them!!!

Like the pants. Flexible, comfortable, dry quickly. Great for multi-tasks as other reviewers have said. My only issue would be that both the front and rear pockets aren't as deep as I would like. Today's full-sized smartphone hardly fits and they're shallow enough that even leaving my keys in the pocket feels a little risky. However, they do have the full zip pockets on each size to hold these items. I guess it's just a preference/habit thing that I'm accustomed to placing these things in the side pockets normally.

All in all though, love the pants!

Appeared well made, but I couldn't really try it out because of the odd fit. Loose around the waist, but constricting around the legs. So I returned this, and got REI Mistral pants, which fit near perfectly.
