Outdoor Use for Movies I'm looking for a good set of speakers for use outdoors with my Blu-Ray / Projector set-up. Are these speakers powered (can run right off the Blu-ray) or do I need an amp? Will they be loud enough for outdoors (10-15 people)?

I don't have these, but they should hook right to your audio out jacks on your Blu ray player. 200 watts should be loud enough for 10-15 people outdoors. You'll have to try them out to see if you can get the sound you need from them. Good luck!

They're powered with a 200 watt RMS (330 watts peak) amplifier. I've never used mine outdoors, so I can't really give you an answer about their performance under those conditions, but I suspect they'd perform admirably.

Set of RCA cables which you probably have lying about already, will connect your Blu Ray directly into the back of the woof. I've been watching DVDs extensively just because I now have these speakers. Enjoy!!!!
