About the Author
Steve Alterman is a nature photographer specializing in images of North Carolina's Outer Banks, the American Southwest and the Hawaiian Islands. Steve's entries placed first in the nature category in "Hawaii Magazine's" 1999, 2000 and 2001 contests. His poster of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse interior was chosen for display in Washington, D.C.'s Corcoran Gallery of Art, and several national calendar companies and regional magazine publishers have used his photographs.

This book is absolutley wonderful. It will make you feel like you are right there in the OUTER BANKS, of North CarolinaSteve Alterman does a tremdous job of trying to capture the essence of the OUTER BANKS. Perfect coffee table book
