Ace Frehley is responsible for at least half the guys in rock wanting to be guitar players to begin with, and this album shows why.

This disc is a great continuation of the recordings Ace started during the Kiss solo projects, but what a continuation it is. Clean and sober, Ace plays with a renewed vigor that clearly shines on this recording. Ace is heavy handed, the band is tight and the disc is meant to be played loud to get the highest degree of enjoyment.

I usually don't review albums, but I got this teaser just to check out what may be on "Anomaly" before it's release, and thought it sounded kinda like the older Ace stuff (i.e. Frehley's Comet). Well, this song does, but "Anomaly" SUCKS. Sorry Ace, you're still great and put on a good live show, but I hope you don't play any of your new stuff live or you'll run everyone away. But, since this review is for "Outer Space", I'd say download it. Doesn't cost you, but beware!!! Stick with this song only and steer away from the album. You can thank me later.

Ace is back but this is only so-so. This song is solid but I doubt it will be an encore at his concerts. I'm not sure it will even be played at his concerts 3 years from now.
