If you've heard their first album, then I'm pretty sure you'll really enjoy this. Some of the intense, harmonizing guitar parts are not there, but the song structure, lyrics, and overall sound of Birds of Avalon are still present. A few of these songs I find myself singing later in the week, which shows how catchy this EP is, and where a few of the tracks from Bazaar Bazaar were a lot of instrumentals, or seemed to not fit the general scheme, this album fits perfectly. I saw these guys live after I bought their first album, and my respect for them only grew. If their sound interests you at all, don't hesitate to pick up one (or both) of their CDs.
