I originally got this book, because there is a section on Captain Zack Ward (I own a lot of his older decoys). This is a very interesting book, and a great piece of history exposed. Nice read.

If you have any interest in hunting at all, this book is a must. It's the first book people grab off my libary shelf. Great read!!!!!

This is a great book for anyone interested in duck hunting and market hunting history. It has great descriptions of the tools used back then, how they hunted, and some really good accounts of hunts that were made. It also has some really good photos. I can highly recommend this book to true duck hunters.
