Do NOT waste your money on this book. I'm glad I checked it out from the library first. This was my first and last Connie Mason book. I am an avid reader...I have over 2000 books in my private little library so I like to think I know a bit about a good read. This isn't one. The characters were shallow...Jess was a pig headed idiot...the first love scene was little...

This is one of Connie's best. the romance relationship between Meg and Jess is absolutely amazing. It was really good how all through the book they were together, except when Megs past catches up to her.
The love scenes were fantastic and it is really great to see the brotherly love the Jess has for his two brothers Rafe and Sam.
If you come by this book read it then read the trilogy. They are all fantastic. I read this book in two days and i loved every minute of it. It is a KEEPER!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another wonderful book, February 13, 2002
Well this is another book by one of my favorite authors. Connie Mason's books are all keepers! I have read and reread them all several times. I loved the Outlaws series. These brothers are great. This book is about Jess, the Doctor. He is on the run along with his brothers from the law after being falsely accused of robbing a bank. He comes across a female bounty hunter, Meg, who is determined to bring him in. How this story unravels is quite funny and very touching. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone.

Connie Mason Has outdone her self With the continue Saga of the Gentry brothers, The Outlaws: Jess.I just love this book. I read it in two days,it took me two days to read The Out Law Rafe also, and I just couldn't put it down, I wiated impationly for the 2nd to publish about the Gentry boys, they are on the run from the law for a crime they didn't comit. I think the bounty hunter Megan is really the perfect match for Jess.I love this book so much, I can hardly wait until "The Outlaws: Sam comes out. I wish Connie Mason writes more Sagas I love them.

The "Outlaw" trilogy is wonderful from several perspectives. First, the relationship between the brothers surpasses love and incorporates integrity and loyalty to each other and to the people they care about. Each of the brothers is unique as are the heroines, who somehow find the "right" Gentry brother. The love scenes are excellent and tasteful. Of the 3 books
.Rafe-Jess and Sam.. I think Sam is the utmost, unquestionable best. In fact I rate Rafe as 3, Jess as 4 and Sam as 5-6*. Of course Sam has the reunion chapter, brief though it is and that is totally unique. But this review is about Jess. Jess is the nicest guy in the world. A hunk, a healer, a vulnerable man and just too sweet to be an outlaw even by mistake! Meg, his bounty hunter counterpart, is much more dangerous and could easily be on a wanted poster!! She's a hellion but really likeable. This is a good read and enjoyable but please read Sam when you're done with this one!!!!!!!Great job, connie.

4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent read, March 5, 2002
I recently started reading Connie Mason novels. The first one I read was The Dragon Lord, which was amazing. I then read this novel, and although it was very good, it wasn't as satisfing as The Dragon Lord. I do recommend this novel, but I highly recommend The Dragon Lord. This one just wasn't as exciting as The Dragon Lord. But anyways, both novels are very good!!

I am an avid reader...I have over 2000 books in my private little library so I like to think I know a bit about a good read. This isn't one. The characters were shallow...Jess was a pig headed idiot...the first love scene was little more than rape. Just a bad bad book. I managed to read to page 120 when I just gave up and threw the book down. Obviously I won't be finishing it.
