Just lists of dictionary definitions and blank ruled pages,

The format of this book is not suited to math. Instead of presenting theorems, math definitions, worked problems or useful commentary, the book consists of pages of dictionary definitions on the left facing blank ruled pages on the right. That's it. Worthless. The book is for the 5th edition of Gallian, not the 6th, but it hardly matters, since there is nothing of value in it. Pass on this one.
