Saw Steve Davis this year in Detroit (2nd time seeing him)-- great show. Both his older and new material is great--his up tempo bop swings, while his slower songs are smooth, clean and mellow.....One of the better trombone players out there and a class guy.....Pick up any of his work and you will certainly enjoy it.

I heard a couple of tracks from this CD on a local jazz station and kept listening until they told who the artist was. Very enjoyable. Listened to the CD while with someone who is a serious jazz fan and he also thought it was terrific.
