We've used various models for years. This model works well, although we had 1 out of 4 we bought that didn't last long.
Several years ago we bought the Charcoal Companion and it worked great. We had a hard time finding them and then when we finally did, the newer models didn't work very well, they weren't killing the bugs. They may have been bought out by another company.
Last year we ran across the Outset G200 and it's worked great.
In fact, we've stocked up because once our friends see it in use they want one.

I've used the ones found in Asia and they really ZAP all kinds of insects with a POP! This product only numbs the damn annoyances. I smacked a fly it went down and before I could find something to bag the carcass it was up and at them again. I also tried a mosquito, same disappointment-- sad.
