This smoking box is the best. Cast-iron makes it solid and it is small and hides under the grate and delivers smoke like a smoker grill. Good product.

This is great for a hint of smoke flavor from the gas grill. It only holds about a cup of wood chips, but does it's job in making smoke and adding smoky flavor to the food you cook.

Great heavy cast iron - solid. Holds a good amount of chips yet not too large so that it will not fit in smaller smokers or grills. Excellent product for the money!!

Tried out this smoker box last weekend and it worked fine. I bought 2 to use both in my electric smoker to increase the amount of smoke flavor.
My only concern is that the boxes are too shallow & don't hold enough wet chips to last the 2 hrs needed to completely smoke the meat w/o refilling the boxes.
This box is well made & should last a long time.

I just wasn't getting the grill flavor I wanted from my gas grill, this item saved the day. Unsure if cast iron is the best material for everyone, but mine does everything that I needed and wanted.
