My folks are retired and have started the snow bird travel with their fifth wheel, this year when they stopped by on their way back home, they barbequed up some rib eye steaks for dinner, my dad had one of these "meat hooks" or "pig tails" to flip the steaks, making it so much nicer and easier.

I searched all the BBQ stores with no luck. Searching the internet I found what I was looking for. My dad has three of these, and told me that if I get one make sure it is a long one, these work great when using a grill on a fire pit.

Everyone that loves to BBQ should have one of these.

Somebody should really start distributing them to all the BBQ stores including merchantile stores - these should be easier to find and purchase.

I love this item, this would receive a higher rating if there was a higher number to choose......

This meat hook looks odd, but it will let you turn any meat and not have it fall off the grill...Great gadget for tailgait party.

This is a great gadget to have if you like to barbeque a lot or a little. It's great for turning ribs, steaks, hot-dogs, etc. I looked through all of my local stores and could not find a tool like this anywhere so I started searching online. This is a great value at only $9.95. I found similar items that were shorter in length and longer in price. The meat flips quickly and effortlessly saving time and the length is perfect to reach over most grills without getting burned.

The only complaint I have about this product is that if you use it while camping, over an open fire it is too short.

This is pretty awesome for flipping steaks or whatever else you want to do. I didn't have it long because I took it camping and I'm pretty sure one of my buddies jacked it from me. I would recommend this to anyone.

The meat hook arrived in a box bigger than the actual hook (so it rattled in there a little), but it arrived in perfect shape. It also arrived promptly so I'd be happy to be a repeat customer.

These are just what I was looking for. Although the measurement in length included the copper ring on the end, these are going to work just fine for turning 400 tri tips at a community event this weekend!

it's well made but every time you hook the meat the juices run out. Why on earth would you want that? Use tongs so the juices stay sealed in, not this thing. it works, it moves the meat, but the resulting loss of juice isn't worth it. TONGS...get TONGS and use them. I used this twice and going to toss it.

This is a great little item, works good for moving dogs and smaller meats and so on around the grill.

Handle length is good, nice and out of the way. Works well for getting under the warmer racks of the grills I've used it on.

Materials used, quite nice. Handle is comfortable in my hand as and the metal in the shaft seems to be of good quality.

I do seem to thing it's general design could be improved on but for the most part it's a great item at the price and works as it should.
