Don't bother,

No reflection on the author - Jim Zuckerman's books are always pithy and packed with useful information. But this one is so dated, there's little useful to be gleaned from it. Most of the compositing described is darkroom work, and you can do it now with Photoshop, or similar, with much less effort. I got it in the afternoon mail, read it that evening, and passed it on to my local library the next day.
