Perfect Combination of Personal and Invention Details,
By
This review is from: Outward Dreams: Black Inventors and Their Inventions (Turtleback)
This book is a must read for students (and teachers). Each short chapter describes different black inventors (men and women). The easy to follow writing will keep a student interested with its combination of personal information, facts about their inventions and facts about issues related to that time period. Find answers to the time period in which blacks were not even allowed to receive patents, which black inventors worked with Thomas Edison and why George Washington Carver never saw his mother again.
