both of my pups love being carried. they weight 4 and 6 lbs. i tried each of them in this item. neither enjoyed it what-so-ever and i was constantly attempting to make the bottom stay flat. it doesn't stay as it appears in the picture, but rather slides against the body so that the dogs appear to be slidding and sideways the entire time they are in it. would be a nice product if it had a strap that did indeed cause the bottom to be a bottom rather than like the side of a bag.

I was so excited when I found this item. My dog is 11 years old and only weighs 13 pounds. She loves to be carried, wrapped up in my sweater with only her head poking out - - kind of like a baby kangaroo. When I saw this item I thought it would be perfect for her, and leave my hands free. It says it is for dogs up to 20 pounds...PLUS it is pink and so cute. When it arrived I put it on, then put my furbaby in the carrier. It was too short to cover her little body and too much of her was poking out of the top. She was too afraid she would fall to really relax, because the bottom does not stay firm, it was like putting her in a plastic grocery bag. PLUS, the carrier did not stay put, it slid down my body and I felt like I had to hold her anyway - - NOT leaving my hands free afterall. I am very disappointed, but I think if you have a VERY small dog, it would work better. If anyone wants one for free, I will ship it to you if you pay shipping.

For the price I felt the product was over priced. Infact, my 2.7# chichiaua was not comfortable in it at all. She continually tried to jump out the whole time we were in a busy area where she could not be on the leash. Now I'm stuck with this product that my dog hates.
