My daughter received this for her 3rd birthday and she frequently tells us this is her favorite gift. I don't love big train sets that are so involved, you lose track of the pieces. This set is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. It comes in a sturdy (cardboard, but well-made) box with an easy to open/close lid, that provides more than enough room for the set plus an additional 9 cars (so far), which makes it easy for little children to clean up themselves. The individual pieces are large enough to be baby-safe, but small enough to pack for on-the-go fun. Both my daughter and her 1 y.o. brother enjoy this immensely and play with it everyday. The track fits other standard wooden train sets, i.e Thomas and Melissa & Doug.

Everything is very well made. It's all wooden so very attractive, with bright but not obnoxious colors. The designs are simple, almost minimalist, but still very cute. I have never heard of Nuchi before this but after this, I will be looking for more items from them.

This is just the right size for a first train. Both of my kids (ages 1.5 and 4.5) enjoy it. It is well made and has a very sturdy box for storage. It will be easy to add on to in the future with the universal wooden tracks. It is exactly what we needed.

The train rolls easily on the tracks and it works with the brio track with already have as well as the name train. My daughter loves this train as well as the other Nuchi cars we own!
