About the Author

Timothy J. Holian is an Assistant Professor of German at Missouri Western State College (St. Joseph, MO). Born and raised in Cincinnati, he has spent over a quarter century researching and documenting the history of brewing and beer consumption in the city, as well as its extensive German heritage.
