Taake with another great album!, May 4, 2010

I'm going to go ahead and put out there that I am a big black/death metal fan and not some random guy making a joke about these genres. Now with that being said... these guys are brutal! Why aren't they very well known? I believe its the timing of the band. All the black metal bands from the early 90s are very well known. These guys came out way after that scene reached its peak, and I believe that's why even many of the die hards haven't heard about them (maybe they should tour more to get their name out there).
On with the music... its brillant! Very raw with some melodic touches to it. Fast, mid-tempoed, and slow speeds are all on here. If you are looking for underproduced stuff then your looking at the wrong band. If you are into Watain, I, newer Immortal or Gorgoroth then you found another great band worth checking out!
Overall... seems that ever album I've listened to them so far has been great! Hope you enjoy!
