Yes, this DVD was recorded in true hi-def. Yes, it is 1080i & not 1080p. Yes, it is still stunning. Keep in mind this series was shot in the 90's. The original version has sold hundreds of thousands of copies & has aired on PBS to millions. Although it may have been origininally shot in HD at 1080i does not mean it shouldn't have been improved upon by bringing it to Blu Ray. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us directly for a full refund.
