Over The Door Clear Shoe Organizer/Storage Rack

I use the plastic organizer over the back of the laundry room door. Instead of shoes, I fill each pouch with various household items that usually get lost in drawers: mailing supplies, glue, batteries, camera, binoculars, flashlights, coupons, glue gun ~ you get the picture. I put things in more or less alphabetical order. Everything's visible ~ no more searching all over the house. It's a great space saver too.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I have men's size ten shoes and have no problem fitting my shoes in at all. Delivery took about a week.

I bought this for my daughter's shoes and it works perfectly. The clear vinyl allows you to see what is in each pocket. Smaller shoes (children's size 3 or 4)can fit in one pocket which allows it to hold more than you would expect. This also hangs low enough that children that want to dress themselves can reach the lower pockets.

Great shoebag! It went on the back of my closet door in less than a minute, it's nice and strong, and pockets are generous (I take a women's 9-1/2 shoe). My closet door closes just fine with it on there. Very nice!

I really like how this has clear plastic pockets that let you see the contents within. The plastic is strong as well. It has 24 big pockets and 2 smaller pockets at the top. I also appreciate how this item came with the hooks to install it, many items like this in retail stores do not contain the hooks.

The pockets are not that big, however. I am a guy with size 11 shoes so none of my shoes will fit. That is ok, since I already knew that before buying this. I bought this to store other things, especially video game related stuff. The big pockets work great for storing Nintendo Entertainment system cartridges. Three cartridges will fit in each big pocket, meaning you can fit 72 total in the big pockets. They also work good for small controllers (NES, SNES fit nice,even one ps2 controller will fit per pocket, but a n64 controller won't).

Make sure you think about where this over the door bag is going to hang. The hooks do not fit great over the top of my door, so my closet door cannot close all the way unless I want to destroy all the paint on the door frame. Before buying, look at the top of your door and see how much open space is there when it is closed. Then check the measurements of the hooks to see if your door will close ok.

Another problem with the hooks is that they are not wide enough to fit snugly over the top of my door. LIke, the hooks have a square shape at the top that is supposed to fit over your door, but if your door is too wide, the hooks won't be able to push down snugly on the top of the door, meaning they will sit up higher that the door when attaches by an inch or 2. If you have a skinny door this probably will not be a problem.

So, this is a well made product overall, just be pessimistic and realize that there is a good chance it will not fit over your door very well.

There are nicer canvas over-the-door shoe organizers in nice colors. However, this one is made of durable/well-sewn clear plastic and the large pockets display your shoes. Converse fit the best. I wear a women's size ten. My running shoes have more girth than converse so they fit really snugly. My high heels only fit going in sideways. Lower heels fit fine. I am happy to be able to see all my cool converse in all the various colors neatly in one place. This was an inexpensive problem solver.

I wear men's size 9 shoes and I have relatively narrow feet. My shoes just barely fit...the organizer works great and i really like it...saves a ton of closet space. My shoes fit ok...only issue is that I have to finagle them a bit when taking out of the pockets but they go in just fine. But i wouldn't recommend this for shoe sizes 10-11 (men's) and up.

Also the one that I recieved is see through plastic all around. No canvas on the back. Fits niceley on the closet door though.

Overall a great organizer for kids/women shoes.

I bought this product earlier this week, I was skeptical of its sturdiness going into it but I hung it up and filled the pouches with shoes. 3 days later my door won't close because the hooks are so cheap they are not holding it up anymore they are bending from the weight. Don't make a product that could hold the weight and then send hooks with it that can't. Do not buy this product if you plan on putting real shoes in it, if you just want sandals you should be fine.

I ordered this hoping that it would help me organize our coat closet. We have always had a big basket where we keep our mittens, gloves, and hats. The problem was the pairs never stayed together or we would have to dig through the entire baskets to find what we were looking for. After I received this I put it on the back of our coat closet door. In each pocket I was able to put a pair of gloves or hat. Some pockets were able to accomdate more than one alike pair of mittens. The see through material makes it easy to find exactly what we are looking for!

This is a great product, I purchased three, one for shoes and two for clutter control. I made the mistake of not measuring the width of my linen closet door before ordering, and the bag is too wide. My mistake, but check it first! Otherwise, they are perfect.
