Bleak, hard-driven 3rd LP (1983) offers GREG SAGE at his most chased & breathless, lashing out w/ sharp staccato notes as if melody were his only defense. The jagged, effortless guitar lines, the paranoid lyrics & raw-throated vocals, & the taut, unified rhythms that define their sound bleed together most clearly on this LP. Audiophile grade vinyl, packaged in a deluxe tip-on sleeve.

Great reissue: sounds very nice, vinyl is thick and very quiet, sleeve looks very well too.
About the music: this is the Wipers best record (IMHO). If you like punk, or early eighties guitar-rock but don't know the Wipers, start here.

If you live in Portland, Doom Town could be your theme song. You can get this cheaper from the band at zeno records or zeno oddities.
