Over The Edge is the second installment in Kallysten's On The Edge series and starts right up where the first story, On The Edge, ends. Here we face the morning after and our beloved characters reactions to the passionate night they had spent together. Specifically Brett's seeing as it was his first time with another man in his bed.

This is the longest work of Kallysten's that I've read to date and I really appreciated all of the extra details that were added to the story arc. Not that it effected my opinion of Lisa, Leo and Brett much. In fact it only increased my love of these characters.

In this story we see Leo's struggle to live the type of life that he not only wanted, but needed to keep both Brett and Lisa. It was extremely easy to feel his desire to do the right thing. Leo's resolve was solid and I silently cheered when he stuck to his guns.

Learning more about Lisa's past helped me understand her a little better. She often recognizes in herself that she is not able to provide all the emotional ties to Brett that he, as a human needs. It seemed to me that her reason wasn't just because she's a vamp. The vampires in this world of Kallysten's can love though it is not the norm. Now I know a little bit more about why she is like this.

This is is yet again an awesome read by Kallysten. Not only was is sexy but the way that Kallysten writes her characters makes them just as real as you or me. I'd love to read more about these guys. They sorta feel like friends of mine and I want to keep in touch with them.
