"Over the Rainbow" is a beautifully produced book of dreamy paintings by Eric Puybaret who was the artist for the "Puff the Magic Dragon", flawlessly set to the beloved lyrics of "Over the Rainbow," music by Harold Arlen, lyrics by E. Y. Harburg. Sung by internationally acclaimed vocalist Judy Collins, "Over the Rainbow" is a classic to bestow upon a whole new generation of fortunate, beloved children. "Over the Rainbow" is the perfect pre-naptime, pre-bedtime storybook, with all the elements of magic and imagination to inspire sleepy young dreamers. An added bonus is the inclusion of two other songs sung by Judy Collins on the enclosed CD, "White Choral Bells" and "I See the Moon."

The pictures in this book are beautiful. That is what keeps my child engaged. However, I also have the Puff the Magic Dragon book and it does a much better job at following the music. Even if a verse repeats itself the book will do the same. The Over the Rainbow book does not and could use a few more pages to match the words. I would buy it again though and do recommend it to people with young children.

My daughter loves this book. Great illustrations. My wife and I have sung this to her, and when she hears Judy Collins sing it on the included CD, she really digs it. It also knocked her out cold last night. Great for our 2-year old daughter.

My son loves this book and wants us to read it to him all the time (He is 2). The artwork is beautiful and it's a great book for toddlers and preschoolers.

This is a lovely new twist to an old, beloved song. The illustrations are delightful and the performance of the song by Judy Collins is magically stirring.

I'm using this book/recording in my music class at school to help my students see/hear things they already love in a whole new way.

My daughter's kindergarten teacher had this book and song as part of their class, and my 6-year-old just loved it!

My wife loves this book. She bundles it as a gift to all newborns of families and friends. A hard cover keep sake.

I sent this to my granddaughter and she loves it!! I am going to purchase 4 more for each of my granddaugthers & myself.

This book is so fantastic I am buying one for every birthday party this year. My children ages 2,3 & 6 ask for it every night, often twice a night. I find it calming, relaxing and the perfect mantra for all of us. The illustrations are magical. Most pages we sing the words and just stare at the images for awhile.

I think we all need a reminder that dreams are for everyone, all you have to do is dare to dream.

"Over the Rainbow" is a beautifully illustrated book/CD - a tribute to the taste and talent of singer Judy Collins, illustrator Eric Puybaret, publisher Peter Yarrow and text-lyrics of the great "Yip" Harburg, who wrote "Over the Rainbow" with composer Harold Arlan.

My own song "Dare to Believe" was inspired by "Over the Rainbow." Phyllis Diller, whom I interviewed for my book "Queens of Comedy" sent me the book "The Magic of Believing" It all comes from the source.

Besides - how can I be moody, when I sing with Judy?
